forty-one dollars

A nice surprise as I was checking out of the Venetian Resort, two nights room minibar and internet charges costing just over $1000 was covered by the casino. To my knowledge I did not play anything other than poker so christ knows why I was comped so much. I must have made friends with someone within the casino with some authority when I was drunk. I am curious to know why I was comped but did not want to ask incase it cost me $1000!

I have enough cash for cab to airport and a burger king meal. The burger tasted good, bar some sushi the night before I had not eaten in two days. Now there is two hours before my flight and I really fancy a pint of cold beer, however I have a dollar left. I play some poker online and disconnect several times costing me a few hundred dollars. This last month it has cost me $2000-3000 from disconnectins, its part of the game online though and often I have benefited from others disconnecting. A long time ago I realised that when your opponent disconnected never play slow or refund them as there will be times when this happens to you. Last Thursday I was in three heads up SNG with 5-1 chip advantages when the internet crashed, one scandi tramp 'Fish Fair' even found me later and laughed saying thanks for the money, at the time of disconnection I had 2700 v 300 chips. Still lets hope something nasty happens to him in the near future, perhaps he can catch an STD the next time he is in Thailand screwing ladyboys. No more digressing, back to myself and my dollar. I really want a beer, I feel hungry. All this is because I know I have no money, two drunken nights surely I have money somewhere. I check a small pocket in my shorts and sure enough there is $41 in there! I feel like the richest man in the world, or the man lost in the desert who finds water. Off to the bar where I had one of the most enjoyable pints of beer in my entire life. There is still change for a few drinks and sandwich on the flight back to Florida.

Less than a week until I am back in England, I doubt much will happen before then as I intend to stay in most of the time and take it easy....although in my life random things on a daily basis almost are standard. Bye for now....
